Charles Cottrell has been serving clients for over 12 years. He is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University and the SMU Dedman School of Law. He is licensed to practice law in Texas, North Dakota, Pennsylvania and Oklahoma and board certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in oil, gas and mineral law.
He has extensive experience in mineral title examination and has drafted hundreds of title opinions for both small independent and large publicly traded oil and gas producers in various producing areas in Texas, Oklahoma, North Dakota and Pennsylvania. Mr. Cottrell has also successfully represented dozens of clients in federal administrative law hearings and has additional experience as a bankruptcy attorney and in general civil matters.
In his spare time, Charles is active in his Church, spends time with his wife and two daughters and competes in AKC retriever field trials with his Labrador Retrievers.
